Ingredients

Method

Repeat steps 3-5 until all the dough and filling have been used. 7. In a pot, bring the water, brown sugar, and ginger to a boil. 8. Add the rice balls to the pot and cook for about 10-15 minutes or until they float to the surface. 9. Serve the sweet rice balls in a bowl with the syrup.

Notes

Make sure to use glutinous rice flour for this recipe, as regular rice flour will not work. You can use any type of filling you like for these sweet rice balls. If you have leftover rice balls, store them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat them by boiling them in water for a few minutes.

Recipe Tips
