Method

For the rice: 1. Rinse the rice and soak it for 15 minutes. 2. Bring water to boil and add salt and oil. 3. Add rice and let it cook until done. 4. Once cooked, fluff the rice with a fork. For Manchurian: 1. In a mixing bowl, add cornflour, all-purpose flour, salt, and pepper. 2. Add water to make a thick batter. 3. Dip the shredded vegetables in the batter and deep fry until golden brown. 4. In a wok, add oil and heat it. 5. Add chopped ginger and garlic and sauté for a few seconds. 6. Add chopped onions and fry until golden brown. 7. Add soy sauce, chili sauce, and vinegar and cook for a few seconds. 8. Add fried vegetables and mix well. 9. Cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
