- 1 egg, beaten

Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

- Brush the edges of the dough with the beaten egg.
- Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape.
- Use a fork to crimp the edges of the dough together.
- Repeat with the remaining dough circles and filling.
- Place the empanadas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops of the empanadas with the remaining beaten egg.
- Bake the empanadas for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
- Remove the empanadas from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
