Method
Follow the below steps to make delicious curd rice: 1. Take a mixing bowl and add cooked rice to it. 2. Add curd and milk to the bowl and mix well. 3. Add water to the bowl and mix well. 4. Add salt to taste and mix well. 5. Keep the bowl aside. 6. Take a pan and heat oil in it. 7. Add mustard seeds and let them crackle. 8. Add urad dal and chana dal and fry till they turn golden brown. 9. Add chopped green chilli, grated ginger and curry leaves to the pan and fry for a few seconds. 10. Switch off the flame and let the mixture cool down. 11. Add the tempering to the mixing bowl and mix well. 12. Cover the bowl with a lid and let it rest for 10 minutes. 13. Your delicious curd rice is ready to serve.
Notes
- You can add grated carrot, pomegranate or cucumber to the curd rice for some extra flavour. - Make sure the rice is cooked well before adding it to the mixing bowl. - You can adjust the consistency of the curd rice by adding more or less water.
