- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup diced chicken or shrimp
- 1 cup diced vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, onions, and peas)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste

Method
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken or shrimp and stir-fry until cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the wok and set aside in a bowl.
- Add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil to the wok and add the minced garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the diced vegetables to the wok and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Push the vegetables to the side of the wok and add the cooked rice to the center. Stir-fry the rice to heat through and break up any clumps.
- Add the cooked chicken or shrimp back to the wok and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes.
- Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil to the wok and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until everything is evenly coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
