Description
Claypot rice is a traditional dish in Singapore that is cooked in a claypot over charcoal fire. The dish is made with rice, meat, and vegetables, and is seasoned with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and other spices. The claypot gives the rice a crispy, golden-brown crust at the bottom, and the steam from the cooking process helps to infuse the ingredients with flavor.

Notes
- It is important to use a claypot or heavy-bottomed pot with a lid to achieve the crispy crust on the bottom of the rice. - Soak the claypot in water for at least 30 minutes before using to prevent cracking. - You can use any combination of meats and vegetables in this dish, depending on your preference.
- To save time, you can use a rice cooker to cook the rice separately before adding it to the claypot. - You can also add additional vegetables such as carrots, bell peppers, or onions to the dish. - For a vegetarian version of this dish, omit the meat and use vegetable broth instead of water.
